What We Do

Our Past, Our Present. Our Future, Our VOICE.

In eight short words, it sums up everything that VOICE sets out to accomplish:

  1. Winning asylum for the last remaining Vietnamese refugees, a remnant of our tortured past;
  2. Countering the trafficking of women and children, an affront to our common present;
  3. Building civil society in underprivileged communities with whom we want to share a brighter future.

And as such, reality dictates that we must raise our VOICE.

VOICE aims to achieve these objectives through:

  • Full-time staff based in Washington, D.C. and Manila, Philippines to advocate and give voice to our mission. We knock on doors and follow-up, ensuring consistency and persistency;
  • Community outreach projects and awareness campaigns;
  • Volunteer-based legal and social work in Southeast Asia and beyond; and
  • Community empowerment programs.
